Femmeluxe is a fashion brand and website that caters to sizes XS-XL selling a range of clothing such as lounge wear, party dresses, every day dresses, active wear and coats.

This time I went for a more practical approach and picked lounge wear and some pieces to have ready in time for places to open up post covid. Take a look and see what I got below.

Femmeluxe Clothing Haul

Working again with Femmeluxe, I’m bringing you a haul of clothes they kindly sent for me to review here.

I was kindly sent 2 dresses and 2 sets of lounge wear that I have tried out. As usual I found clothes that I can find practicality with so I can wear to work, wear out and get a good use out of them so I can give my honest opinions.

I heart revolution Heartbreakers Lucky Palette review

I’ve been having a massive makeup clear out during lockdown and have donated or given away items I haven’t used or gently used. My collection had a lot of nudes or same colour stories so it’s time to revamp and add additional colours and products I don’t have.

I realized I lacked green eyeshadows, and for my complexion and eye colour I adore greens, especially mixed with golds and plums. I had a quick browse in Superdrug and found this cute palette for just £5, and having some Revolution / I heart Revolution makeup previously I picked it up.

This is the lucky Palette from their Heartbreaker line, which consists of tones of green and pops of colour which complement each other.

See below what I thought of this palette!

Price: £5

Available from: Superdrug, Revolution

ION SEI Electric Toothbrush Review

A few weeks ago I was contacted by ION SEI to try out their electric toothbrush. This is a different direction to my usual posts however I do believe it is imperative to keep up good oral hygiene. After being born with no enamel on my teeth, to having a tooth growing in the middle of the roof of my mouth and having braces for 4 years to drag it to the right place, to some teeth removed for silly mistakes I’ve made in the past, all the way down to infected teeth, I’ve seen it and been through it all. So if anyone can tell you to look after your teeth, I can definitely stand up and say please do because the pain isn’t worth it.

This electric toothbrush retails at £149, this sleek and light weight toothbrush claims to help remove plaque build up, help get rid of bacteria in the mouth using an LED sensor, and you can even use the toothbrush without toothpaste.  Accessories such as additional heads can be bought for £12.99.

To find out how I got on with it, read on!

Branching out to appeal to new customers, Funko announced that they are collaborating with Disney to create a Villain inspired collection with a twist. Not the usual Funko figurines to be seen here, but a collectible makeup palette stylized in the famous style 3D rendering of the selected villain head. Confirmed so far are 4 Villains. Read more to see what Villains are part of this collaboration and to take a deeper look into the collection.

Kat Von D Dagger Liner Review

During an intimate event with Kat Von D I was kindly gifted their Dagger Liner to try out, which is a similar format to the Tattoo Liner but t an angle. I did not get on with the Tattoo Liner originally due to the applicator being a little chunky for me to apply thin lines with, so I was excited to see if this applicator worked better for me. The formula is very similar to the Tattoo Liner, so if you are a fan favourite of this cult product or like me, longed for something thinner, this might be for you!

It retails for £17 and is the same colour, Trooper Black, as the Tattoo Liner.

Shadow Switch Review

Last month I entered a Twitter contest run by @BeautyEssUK and surprisingly won a Shadow Switch, which is a product that lets you change your eye shadow or powder colour quickly and effectively if you’re limited to a few brushes doing a look with lots of shadow colours. I was a bit sceptical I must admit because I didn’t understand how it would work.

When I received it the look of the product wasn’t what I expected at all. With the Shadow Switch there is no need to use any brush cleaner or wet products, you swirl and go. This intriguing product has definitely revolutionised how I use my brushes.

This nifty little product retails for £5.99 and you can get it on Amazon.

Rimmel London Colour Precise Eye Liner Review

Since working on NYX Cosmetics I’ve been keen on trying out more affordable brands and surprised with what I have found so far. I do confess, I am an absolute eyeliner hoarder. If I leave my house without eyeliner on my eyes people always ask me if I’m unwell as I don’t look myself. I am fully aware I do look like a naked mole rat without some sort of eyeliner on my eye so I do try to wear it 90% of the time.

With that said, I am always keen on trying new eyeliners out, whatever the colour, formula or application.

I picked up Rimmel’s newest eyeliner when it caught my eye in June, boasting of it’s 24 hour wear and pigmented formula.

Read on to see how I got on with it!

Price: £5.99

Time Trialled: 2 Months.
