Erborian Korean Skin Therapy – First Impressions.

I was kindly contacted by Erborian a few weeks ago to give my thoughts on some of their best selling skincare and cosmetics. This is a brand that I have been wanting to try, however I do prefer to shop in person so I can feel and smell products before purchasing as textures and finishes do count towards my final purchases – something I am unable to do while online shopping.

When the box came to my door I was astounded by the quality of the box, packaging and the handwritten note in the box which was a lovely personal touch! The products selected were chosen by Erborian themselves as I told them I had acne prone 30+ skin, which was combination oily, but a dehydrated oily.

Below are my thoughts on the products I have received after trying them out for a few weeks.

Final Fantasy 8 remastered Switch review

After waiting patiently for this game to be reduced on the Nintendo E-shop, I managed to grab Final Fantasy 7, 8, and 9 with 50% off during July 2020. Having the games for the original consoles, I wanted to re experience these classic games on my Switch.

If you asked me what Final Fantasy game is my all time favourite, 8 would be my answer before that sentence has even finished coming out of your mouth. Although I may have been 8 years old at the time, I can vividly remember getting emotional playing this game, getting excited when having to switch the disks up, and mass saving on my memory card so I could go back and replay certain missions.

Nintendo Online Expansion: The Legend Of Zelda Ocarina of Time

When I watched Nintendo Direct, I was not prepared for the gasp that left my body when I saw Ocarina of Time come up on my screen with the possibility of Majora’s Mask coming onto it as well. I thankfully pay monthly for my Nintendo Online, so I was prepared to accept for the Expansion I would probably have to pay upwards of £40 on the spot to access it. If you know me, The Legend of Zelda has a special place in my heart, it was the first game I had that locked me in, I was able to discuss with class mates and helped me escape as a child.

Thankfully in the UK it was £34.99, a lot cheaper than I anticipated, which as a birthday treat for myself purchased on launch day. For me this must have been the 12th, minimum, playthrough of OOT, as I’m one of those fan girls who own a copy on every system. So as I was playing I had certain expectations of the port as I have played the N64, Wind Waker special edition version, and recently started a new save on the Collectors Edition so it was pretty fresh in my head up until the Water Temple boss fight for me. This will be more of a how I got on, not a review of the games story, with slight spoiler images. How did I find playing this version? Read on to find out.

I’m back!

Hey everyone!

I decided to have a shirt hiatus from the blogging world. So what happened while I was away?

I decided to take a break after becoming very ill on and after my Birthday. I spent in London for my Birthday, then after my Birthday I was struck with the flu followed by a winter cold, which led me to miss lots of blogging opportunities and events. With my work and university work on top of this I decided to take a short break to clear my mind and get better, which has helped me a lot! This week I headed back to london with my University to visit some art galleries and museums, did a little shopping at my usual shops then headed back to wet and windy Wales.

Here is some of what has been going on in my life in pictures…

I was lucky enough to see some amazing works in the Tate, Victoria and Albert Museum and even spotted some Moschino jewellery on show.

For my birthday I stayed in London, went shopping and did general tourist things such as visit Madame Tussauds.

At the moment in University I’m doing printing which is a lot of hard work, I’m creating woodcut pieces, hand painted screen prints and etching plates. We’re creating these with the human body as a theme, it’s time consuming but knowing its hand made is rewarding once you see the work finished.

Before I got ill, I was able to go to the Student Lock in in Cardiff, which was a lot of fun but very busy! I was invited to attend by Superdrug to see what they had to offer on the night and what kind of Christmas gifts they had in store.

Starting from this week I’ll be blogging again about make up beauty and life in general. Apologies for the lack of posts everyone!
