I recently visited Pizza Faith after finding out that they serve gluten free bases, as well as normal vegan bases/pizza. We went as a trio, one Vegan, one gluten free, and one carnivore. Cheeses can even come in milk and vegan form so it keeps everyone happy.
We were able to choose from various toppings and sides, many of which are vegan and gluten free, and they even do deserts and donuts.
Pizzas start from £5 where you can create your own, choose one from the menu. and you can also combine with a side and drink to create a meal deal.
Saturday the 3rd of December, if you happen to be shopping in Cardiff check out the W7 bus which is arriving in the town centre to show you W7 products, demo some products and have gifts with purchase when you purchase any W7 item from Peacocks, St Davids (While stocks last!).
The bus will be there from 10:30am – 5pm, with Miss Universe Great Britain and I’m A Celebrity star Amy Willerton sharing her hints and tips between 11:30am – 2pm!
I have been testing out some current W7 products myself and the quality for the price point is incredible. If you have the time definitely check out what they have to offer and have a little make over by one of the W7 artists on board. They have some fantastic dupes for higher end products, such as the Naked Palette by Urban Decay, called Colour Me Nude and Colour Me Buff, and Shy Beam by Benefit, called Night Light! They have over 650 products to choose from so you’re bound to find a purse friendly secret Santa gift or if you’re on a budget this is the perfect brand for you. An added bonus to W7 is that they are a cruelty free brand, which is perfect if you’re currently changing your make up bag to cruelty free items.
It’s that time of year where Cardiff braces itself for up and coming talent in the fashion world, showcase whats available to purchase in stores in our city and celebrate Welsh design, fashion and art. Cardiff Fashion Week takes place from the 22nd of October till 29th of October 2016, with showcases and events happening across the city.
This years main event and catwalk show will take place in the beautiful Masonic Hall on Saturday the 29th of October 2016, which will showcase a collection of work done by the University of South Wales, Welsh Fashion Designers and retailers.
Earlier this month I was lucky enough to work on the day when Mark Hill came into store to demonstrate his new Pick and Mix range of hair tools and products. I popped down to have a look at the display and Meet Mark on my lunch break. There was an array of products on display including every wand available to purchase, three demo stations to have your hair done by one of the wands of your choice and a pop up selfie booth. I was told that they had a blogger event in the morning as they assumed that’s why I popped along, I wasn’t invited to but didn’t mind as I got to see the event all day from my counter.
I have a fight or flight mode when it comes to my mental health, and usually I choose flight. In the past I have gotten on random buses or trains and just gotten off at the last stop to have a walk around and clear my head, which can be a bit dangerous for me because I have no sense of direction. So when I need to de-stress or try to get away for a hour or two I try to stick to my area of Cardiff and have a look around charity shops. This way I don’t spend money that I usually don’t have, its kind of guilt free knowing it’s going to charity and can get my frustrations out by rummaging around boxes and coat rails of clothes. The best thing to do is go with an open mind and you’ll find some things you were totally not expecting.
My favourite place to go is Albany Road. I’ve heard that Canton is also great for charity shops as my friends have managed to pick up genuine bags and purses for under £5 because the shops think they’re fake, but I’ve yet to go there.

I was very lucky to be invited to Cardiff Debenhams Blogger event where we were treated to a look at some new launches from 4 premium beauty brands. The night would include a rotation of counters where we learnt about skincare, base tips and tricks, colour and getting the perfect brows and liner.
The brands included in this night were Estee Lauder, Dior, Urban Decay and Yves Saint Laurent Beauty.
I was invited to go along to a ticketed event to celebrate the first birthday of Beauty Studio by Superdrug in Cardiff St Davids 2. I can’t believe it’s been a year since I was invited to the launch of the studio!
The event was for press and for beauty shoppers, where we were given the chance to get selected beauty treatments for free and treated to 10% off with the use of their Beauty Cards.
Last week I was invited to attend the Sk:n Clinic opening party at David Lloyd in Cardiff to see what the clinic offered, see live demos and learn more about skin care. The event’s attendees included local press, bloggers, and skin care specialists. Brightly lit, the clinic looked welcoming and clean with its white interior and calming blue colour scheme.
I was invited to attend Lush Cardiff’s seasonal event to showcase their new products. Unfortunately I missed all the demos but I was shown around by their helpful staff to see what they had in store for this season. I went in with a few questions in mind as I feel as though my shower and skincare routine could deal with a freshen up and accidentally spent over my budget, oops!
Beforehand I’d looked online to catch up on products I’d miss out on in the demos so I was clued up before I went in and knew what I wanted.
On the first of March I was invited to attend an afternoon with JoeBloggers, The Crafty Hen and Hillarys to learn how to create some exciting crafts using Hillarys blind fabric.
I was excited to try something different and go to an event that was a change from beauty blogging and it was a refreshing afternoon to create something that I could use and take home!
This event was held in Chapter Arts in Canton, Cardiff. I’d never been before but the building was beautiful and I had a shock to see how big the building actually was. If you haven’t been here please do check it out, it hosts some local talent and live acts.
During the day, we created a book cover, and a fabric bird.
