With Spring literally just arriving, I’m eager to see what the trends will be for this season. I’m praying and hoping we ditch the matte lip, foundation and heavy brows and move on from the perfected Kylie Jenner-esque look.
Here are my predictions for the start to a fresher makeup look for Spring 2017.

Glam Glow was recently launched in Boots in Cardiff and I’ve been wanting to try this blogger favourite for a while. I managed to get some samples from the counter to try at home myself to figure out what one I love the most before I purchase. I have really sensitive skin so with any skincare product I always make sure to try before I commit and purchase.
I was given Youth Mud, Super Mud and Thirsty Mud to try so at the time of using this my skin needed a bit of a pick me up and exfoliate so I used Youth Mud. I’m 25, so I feel like this is the age I should start using anti ageing and look after my skin a little more so I was keen to try it and possibly purchase if I loved using it.
1 tub of Youth Mud sells every 10 seconds in the US so I was keen to see what the hype was.
One 50g tub costs around £39 from Boots.

I was kindly sent a pack from Weleda to try their Skin Food, which is an all purpose cream for dry skin. I’ve known of Weleda products for a while but never had an opportunity to try their products.
Loved amongst celebrities such as Adele, Rihanna, Alexa Chung and Victoria Beckham, I was keen to get on board the Skin Food train to see if it could help with my dry elbows and knees.
What interested me about trying this was the fact the ingredients are all natural, and I am partial to a bit of lavender. I’m also a bit obsessed with hand creams and body creams and my skin changes so often I felt like these would be good points to put the Skin Food to the test to.
Price: 75ml = £9.95
Time Trialled: 3 weeks.

I was contacted by Stylelux a while back to review some products of theirs and I was sent some Blackhead Killers. The product is designed to remove impurities and any blackheads from the skin and is to be used as a treatment of 5 packets.
As Blackhead Killer dries, it actually sucks pimples, blackheads and the oil and bacteria that cause them out of your skin. It penetrates deep and then literally sucks them up and out of your skin! It also lifts away the unsightly redness that accompanies pimples and reduces any pimple scars. So your appearance improves even more – instantly! Blackhead Killer also removes dead cells from the surface of your skin. When it peels them away, it leaves your skin looking cleaner, fresher and smoother than ever!
Unfortunately the first package got lost in the post and I was sent another package without any fuss, so I must take an opportunity to applaud their customer service!
5 sachets of Blackhead Killer cost £14.95
Time trialed: Over 2 weeks, 4 packets used.
