L’oreal Colorista Washout Yellow Neon review

I dye my hair, a lot, if you hadn’t noticed by now! Growing up with a mother as a hairdresser, from the age of 15 have always had some sort of colour in my hair. It is kind of like a security blanket, but I don’t feel myself if my hair is brown or blonde, it has to have some splash of colour in it!
I found the Colorista Yellow Washout on an end of line clearance and was skeptical. Some yellows I have had in the past such as Crazy Colour, W7 or Directions didn’t come out very yellow, even on the lightest parts of my hair. I initially got this colour to mix it in with reds and oranges but thought why not try it on its own to create my ombre hair.

I think I paid £3 for this, but normal Colorista products retail for around £7.

L’Oreal Paradise Primer review

Looking at my mascara collection I realised I do need to branch out and try some more brands and mascara typed. Mascara and I do have a slight love hate relationship, as I have very oily lids and under eye area, meaning 90% of the time I sport the panda look without intention of playing fancy dress.

I have been looking at mascara primers and wanted to start with those to use up mascara that were lacking va-va-boo, so purchased the newest L’oreal Paradise Lash Primer.

These are it’s claims:
Primes lashes.
2 in 1 primer, that boosts mascara volume and length and cares for lashes.
Lashes have the appearance of being soft and feather like, and be stronger and more conditioned.

Vitamin enriched.
Panthenol to encourage lashes  to grow.
Rose canina oil for vitamin A and E to nourish, strengthen and smooth texture.

I was a bit skeptical about trying a new mascara but I did need a new every day mascara, as personally my usual mascara is a little too full volume for every day wear. I decided to try the new L’oreal Miss Manga Mascara in Violet for a change, and I got it at the introductory price of £5.99.

“Mega Volume Miss Manga Mascara creates bold volume

with L’Oreal Paris’ first 360° flexible cone shaped brush that amplifies upper lashes and reveals lower lashes.”

With it’s interesting brush shape and advertisement I grabbed one to try.
